It is the policy of Jordan Manufacturing Limited to pursue high and continually improving standards of Health and Safety Management. I believe that safety performance is an essential indicator of business success, and my goal is to prevent injury to employees, contractors, our neighbours and visitors to our sites and premises and to safeguard their health. In order to achieve my goals, I am committed to maintaining a Safety Management System that:

• Applies to all the Company's operations; and
• Meets or exceeds legal requirements pertaining to health and safety; and
• Stipulates risk and hazard control through method statements and risk assessments; and
• Measure and monitor key performance indicators; and
• Is reviewed regularly to monitor its suitability and performance and to ensure that it is continuously improved.

I and my Senior Management Team shall ensure that their decisions reflect the intentions of the Company Safety Policy, that they keep up-to-date with health and safety management issues, and encourage workers to become actively involved in Health and Safety. I shall promote continuous improvement in safety performance, and ensure that all instances of non-compliance are investigated to identify root causes and prevent re-occurrence. I shall also ensure that adequate resources are available to fulfil the Company's commitments.

No safety policy is likely to succeed, however, unless it is given active support by everyone within the Company. All employees have a legal and moral duty to take reasonable care of themselves and other people who may be effected by their actions; to this end it is a condition of everyone's employment that they support the Company in the management of health and safety, and are familiar with and adhere to the systems, procedures and standards detailed within this Health and Safety Manual and task specific risk assessments.
