BNG - Storage Bottles Contract
British Nuclear Group plc., AGR Containers - Draft award notice was placed on 21 June on BNG's CTM website for 50 off THORP AGR Containers to provide containment (and underwater storage capability) for AGR fuel assemblies until reprocessing of the AGR fuel can be carried out. Formal award of contract is in progress for instigation after a 10 day "Cooling off period" required by the NDA. The 1st unit is to be completed and tested after 20 weeks and contract completion is 60 weeks.
